Welcome to Kindergarten!
About me: My name is Mrs. Figlewski. This is my 3rd year at Union and I am SO excited for another great year.
Education:
I received my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Special Education from Lewis University. I also have an English as a second language endorsement.
I am currently working on a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a Reading teacher endorsement at Lewis University. I will be done with this degree in December.
Important information: Here you will find important announcements. I will also send home a weekly newsletter for our classroom.
Monday: Library (books due on Mondays)
Tuesday/Thursday: Music
Monday/Wednesday/Friday: P.E.–please be sure that your child has gym shoes that can be left in their cubbies.
Monday/Wednesday: Social skills/Greenhouse
What we’re working on:
This year we will be working on letters, letter sounds, number identification, reading 3 letter words, as well as fun science experiments and social studies.
